I don't know if she became famous because of his pictures documenting Picasso's life or because of her work as a war correspondent. Anyway, she catched me during my visiting at MACBA (Contemporary Museum of Catalunya). If I were a photographer I would like to be just like her!

Peter Hujar at the ICA London
I've been there. Delicate, shocking, intriguing.
Peter Hujar is one of the most important American photographers of the 70s and early 80s. He is best know for his black and white portraits of New York's avant-garde and underground stars, but his subjects also include nudes, animals and the night-time streets of downtown Manhattan.

Sota la Bomba (Be Bomb)
I had the opportunity to visit this amazing exhibition at MACBA (Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona). The paintings, videos and animations document the post-war political and cultural life in the USA and France, in the particular period of 1946 to 1956, showing the euphoria of the liberation and reconstruction following Second World War and the shadows of the Cold War.
